Beyond Our Walls

We love our community, our neighborhoods, and our world.  God has called us to be His hands and feet here on Earth and show love to our neighbors….here are a few ways that CMCC moves beyond the walls of our church:

Back to School Bash
This is an annual event just prior to school starting where CMCC gives away school clothing, hygiene products, and supplies. We also have numerous stylist come in and give free hair cuts. Central Montcalm Schools provide a sack dinner for all the kids and there is always fun activities, like face painting.

Clothing Closet
Every three months we fill the church with clothes and open the doors for the entire community to come and receive free clothing of all sizes for all ages. All of the clothing is either gently used or new and at times we also have shoes, purses, belts, hats, gloves & coats. Members of our CMCC family, as well as people from the community, continue to bless us with donations that allow us to provide this wonderful outreach.

Easter Egg Hunt
The Saturday prior to Easter we hold our annual egg hunt. The CMCC family has over 10,000 eggs that are stuffed with candy and “hidden” for the kids to find. We also have bikes of all different sizes donated for the children to win. This outreach is an exciting event for the entire family to enjoy.

Parades
Sheridan Spring Fest and Stanton Old Fashioned Days are two of the local parades that Central Montcalm Community Church normally takes part in. We will pass out candy to the kids (young and old) as well has hand out invitation to join us at any of our worship services.

Trunk or Treat
BOO! Join us just prior to Halloween as we decorate our trunks (or any part of your vehicle) and watch the little ghouls come out. This is a great, safe environment for the children to enjoy some trick-or-treating with their family and see some creative ideas.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS is an opportunity for any mom of a young child to connect with other moms to learn, grow, and build friendships. Being a mom can be hard and isolating. We love moms and desire to provide a program to offer support and encouragement. You’re not alone, moms!
