If you are thinking about coming to church here this Sunday or you have never been to church before, we hope you stop by! As it says on our home page, we’re all about casual dress, good coffee, and most importantly, a real relationship with Jesus Christ. At CMCC, you are free to come as you are. One of the most common things we hear from guest is that they feel very comfortable here.
Here’s what to expect: In the sanctuary (where we meet for church) there are a couple rows of chairs and tables to sit around. You can feel free to sit wherever you want, and just in case you come in late, one of our greeters will show you to an open seat. When you walk into the church, you will be greeted and handed a bulletin which has announcements and a place for you to take notes during the sermon. Immediately to the right when you walk in is the welcome center where you can pick up a free cup of coffee (and refills).
When church starts we sing a few songs and have a time of greeting and giving of tithes and offerings. Expect to have a couple of people shake your hand! And please don’t feel obligated to give an offering if you’re a guest. After the worship, children will be released to go to Kid’s Church, which is right across the hallway. We hope you will feel comfortable taking your children to Kid’s Church as each adult volunteer has been through Child Safety Training and has had thorough background checks. You be given a number that corresponds with your child so ONLY you can pick them up after church. We take the safety of our kids very seriously.
Next in the service is a sermon/message from the bible delivered by our pastor. After that, feel free to stick around and meet some of our church family and get a refill on your coffee. Again, we would LOVE for you to come and be a part of our family and learn and grow in Christ with us!
